Welcome to the Middle School

Welcome to New London-Spicer Middle School! Our main goal is providing your child with a quality education. In order to do this, we provide a safe, nurturing, positive, and challenging environment. The middle years are a crucial time in one’s life. It is a time that children explore and find their strengths and interests. It is a time that encouragement at home and school is essential to a child’s development. This encouragement extends to allow for strengths and interests to flourish. Student success is very important and as a staff we are committed to all students feeling success in the Middle School. We look forward to working together and to making the middle school years an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

7th- 12th Grade Activities & Athletics (opens in new window/tab)

7th & 8th Grade Sports -- Please register at least one week prior to the start of season to receive communication on practices.

All incoming 7th graders will need a sports physical and most 10th graders - physicals are good for 3 years.Please make sure you have your sports physical completed prior to the start date of practice. Students will not be allowed to practice without a current physical on file at the Community Ed/Activities Office.

Wolf Ridge & Grade 5 Information

Every fall, the fifth grade takes a trip to the Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center located in Finland, MN (north of Duluth).
